The Treasury Department's 17-week bill auction on September 9 sold $72 billion of 119-day bills (CUSIP 912797WP8) at a high discount rate of 3.895 percent and an investment rate of 4.001 percent. Bid-to-cover was 2.73. Price was 98.712486. Total tenders were $202,209,305,500 and total accepted $77,647,610,500, including $5,647,542,600 accepted by SOMA outside the offering. Last Wednesday's 17-week bill (CUSIP 912797WN3) stopped at a 3.855 percent high discount rate and a 3.959 percent investment rate, with bid-to-cover 2.78. The new bills issue September 15 and mature January 12, 2027.
