The Federal Reserve Board's commercial paper release, posted October 1, put seasonally adjusted outstanding at $1,406.7 billion for the week ending September 30, down from $1,461.9 billion on September 23. Nonfinancial paper was $324.2 billion and financial paper was $260.9 billion. Asset-backed paper was $63.2 billion.
